The Kellam, Weaver-Fagan & Hastee Educational Scholarship, formed pursuant to order of the Circuit Court for the City of Hampton, Chancery No. 31689, has been providing financial assistance to Hampton public school students who attend a Virginia four-year college, university, or nearby community college since 1993. This trust is intended to provide educational assistance to students who have demonstrated their willingness and ability to maintain a high level of academic achievement, while giving of themselves to better their school, neighborhood, place of worship, family, and/or the City of Hampton. It is hoped that upon graduation from a college, university, or nearby community college that they will return and make an even greater contribution to our community.

​In March of 2022, he established the Kenneth Leary Taylor Scholarship at the Peninsula Community Foundation in hopes of helping a student who enjoys science and has considered teaching science to middle or high school students.

An individual can only apply if he/she has applied to The Apprentice School of Newport News Shipbuilding, has been made an offer and has a start date for an apprenticeship.
The 
Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore Employee Hardship Fund
 (the "Fund") will provide monetary support to assist employees following a natural disaster or series of sudden or unexpected events or circumstances beyond an employee's reasonable control. The Fund's primary focus is responding to emergency needs in order for employees to meet short-term, basic living necessities. The Fund seeks to provide financial assistance to address uninsured needs not covered by other Foodbank or community programs otherwise available to the employee.
The Canon Virginia Emergency Fund will provide monetary support to assist members following a natural disaster or series of sudden or unexpected events or circumstances beyond the member's reasonable control.

The Fund's primary focus is responding to emergency needs in order for the Company's members to meet basic living necessities. The Fund seeks to provide financial assistance to address uninsured needs not covered by other Company or community programs.

The Newport News Shipbuilding Employee's Hardship Fund (the "Fund") provides monetary support to assist employees following a natural disaster or series of sudden or unexpected events or circumstances beyond an employee's reasonable control. The Fund's primary focus is responding to emergency needs in order for NNS's employees to meet short-term, basic living necessities. The Fund seeks to provide financial assistance to address uninsured needs not covered by other NNS or community programs otherwise available to the employee.
